INTRODUCTION TO SCHOOL OF HEALTH
In nursing department an Assists. Prof. Dr. and three instructors have been teaching the main courses. But some of courses and applications have been taught by the instructors from other faculties and colleges and by the doctors from the Kırşehir Public Hospital.
The purpose of this school is to educate professional nurses. The students have been registered to the school according to the grades from Higher Education Council Student Selection and Placement Centre.
The period of education is 4 years. Within the education period students are provided Fundamental Medical Sciences, Basic Nursery Sciences and social-cultural courses compulsorily
In summers of first three years students have done their apprenticeship due to the compulsory application courses in term.
The target of our school is to educate students who comprehend the society with individual and family sides, communicate effectively, solve health problems of people at present and in future, work cooperatively, have the responsibility of life long learning, research and have skills of self development, contribute to the development of Nursing, have role to educate, acquire the behavior of leadership, while nursing, take care of the patients’ rights and ethics.
